Vineyard Greek Taverna - Southwark

Had a pleasant experience in the taverna with my wife and yr old.Very attentive staff and owners who check on us again and again. the three courses on the better part of the hours to test. the food was good if not super, but the service and the ambiente were absolutely top class.

Do not go here, very bland unauthentic Greek eating. the most authentic was the imported foam water from Greece. I was very disappointed about my experience because the good reviews hyped this restaurant on!

A head of lamb kleftico comes before me with a hauch of fragrant steam. an ugly part of slowly roasted meat, pink and juicy, falls of the bone, glittering motes of the garlic and a hauch of laurels that mingling in the oil-infused meat. soaking into the olive oil cooked chips, it is a fight to finish the plate, and a bigger fight not to suck the bone clean afterwards. it is a rewarding reminder of why they should support long-term local restaurants.

Guess this place really. 10£ mezzanine is solid as and perfect amount of food. spend a moderate day with the Greek melodies and they are quite on holiday.
