Restaurant bewertenDisappoint. my friend and I had just taken away our first since the move into the Camberwell area, and chose lamoon because it was close and had mostly good reviews. we were very disappointed at eating. we ordered chicken sweets for stater, who burned, and duck feather rolls that were with the sauce but bland on their own faust ok. our main dishes were the crispy, shredded bark, which was quite tasty, but no bark, only crispy crawling, and also the black canton style char siu could find. there was a lot of meat, but nothing else and there was no taste at all. for almost £30, I expected a lot more.
Good food and service. my wife and I like this restaurant, it has a cozy feeling beautiful and intimate and eating is of a good standard. we like the starter for two, bark meat in black bean sauce served sizzling and the pan fried fish. the Chinese tee is also very refreshing and always stays up.
Transformation didn't go well. in the first instance this place was beautiful because it was a seat in the restaurant that served during the nominal hours full menu choices. then it changed to the buffet service with everything they can eat' angle. problems are now deleted by experience, but the first weeks of buffet style served led to food that is still in the process of warming up when the doors opened for the business oh, I miss their original menus that are used to water mouth.
The best in camberwell. every time I eat here, it was always a consistently high standard. it is much better than other local outliers. it serves clean, authentic, fresh and tasty dishes. the charming family that runs the restaurant is always very attentive and offers a great culinary experience. I would recommend the crispy pancakes and the roasted tofu with chilli mouthwater!
Great genuine family run restaurant. No msg. Fresh food and great lunch offers.
