I'm still trying to recover from this experience, and I'm worried it might happen again. My stomach is hurting, and the cookies looked a bit undercooked. They were delicious, though—not that the aftermath was. Someone send help for my insides and my poor toilet!
The chocolate chip cookies here are pricey but absolutely delicious. I also sampled a few other flavors, but they didn't impress me and weren't worth the cost. Given the price, I'd recommend sticking with the classic chocolate chip and the signature sugar cookies.
The cookies are, of course, incredible, but the service from the staff was exceptional! I had a truly wonderful experience with such kind individuals.
My first visit to Crumbl Cookies was at their Outer Banks location, and it was quite busy that evening around 7:30 PM. They quickly ran out of cookies, but the ones we managed to get were fantastic. It happened to be the week featuring the cinnamon roll cookie and the bucket brew. A few days later, we returned, but this time we went in the morning right after they opened, and it was a much better experience. I placed an online order, and it was ready exactly as promised. I can’t wait for our local store to open this Friday!
The cookies were just mediocre. It would have been helpful to know that some should be chilled while others need to be heated. The customer service was among the worst I’ve ever encountered. I stood at the register expecting assistance while three employees stood around doing nothing. They didn’t offer any help, and while I looked around, I noticed tablets on the wall for ordering. It seems unnecessary to have tablets for a menu with only six types of cookies and a few other items. When I finally received my cookies, the girl at the counter hardly spoke—just three words. Overall, the experience felt very cold and unwelcoming.
