Chili's Grill - Southern Pines

This was the first time that we had hidden since the pandemic and although there was a slight waiting time, it was worth it. They were short staff, but the customer service was great, our waitress was great, food was delicious!

A decent place to grab a cheap sit-down menu. They offer vegetarian friendly options with their burgers, like the beef patty with a black beans that are very appreciated. Food quality and service depends very much on who works. The female black-haired bartender can be a bit rude when you sit in her section. She refused to serve my husband a black bean patty instead of a beef by insisting that the swap could not be made for the meal he had ordered. We had to get the manager to swallow the patty so my husband could eat. She also went on and about how she could never be vegetarians like us who are just strange. We only make sure that seats that are NOT in their section when we go now and have a good experience about 75% of the time.

I was with my husband. Although they work with 50% capacity... the manager helped team make transition tables help customers. Nice to see this; very refreshing!

Ordered a family meal of Chilis and replaced a page with a Caesar salad. Used door Dash to make it easy. The order was delivered immediately, but the page salad was missing. I called and the young lady who answered the phone (which did not identify) offered me a side salad when I went there to pick it up. When I told her that she defeated the use of Door Dash, she claimed it was out of her hands and there was nothing she could do. I doubt that this is true and that she just didn't care that my order was completed. The food was acceptable, but the burgers were overcooked.
