Shanghai House - Southaven

They were closed at 8:30 but apparently were waiting half an hour for a lady to pick up her take-out. I walked in at 9 and they said, even though they closed, they’d serve me whatever I wanted. Super nice couple running the place. …and now they just served another person.

It's around the corner from the house, ordered many meals, the food is always good, but don't get in a hurry

Its pretty good i haven't found any asian food better and its not overpriced. have enjoyed the Lo Mein and pork fried rice and its always been good, the time can very because they get busy as i think its the only game in town so just call and pickup, don't expect a welcome wagon when you walk up to pay its cut and dry but they do appreciate a tip and they work very hard so be nice

Was skeptical because of the reviews because I was new to the area. So after months of pondering it we finally said forget the reviews and gave it a try. Well I'm so disappointed I waited so long to experience the place for myself. My family loves it here. We come two times a week sometimes. The prices are great and food is always fresh and hot. If they tell you 30 minutes then that's what It'll be. They take their time and I can respect that. After visiting twice she knew my voice and by ordering over the phone she actually knew what I wanted. I am won over!!!! Good job guys!!!

Had Shanghai for the first time and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Based on previous reviews I wasn't too optimistic but I'm glad I tried it. We got the orange chicken, sesame chicken, broccoli beef and hunan beef. Everything was delicious, glad we gave it a try! The only thing I would critique is not having a lunch special.
