Marco Pierre White Steakhouse, Grill Southampton

A lovely work friend bought me an afternoon tea as a get well prezzie, and today was the day that my Best friend and I enjoyed it! It was a very tasty afternoon treat, with good selection of tasty sandwiches and a mouthwatering array of cakes and scones with cream. Tea and coffee was plentiful and was topped up for us when we had finished first pots Staff were attentive and friendly. Atmosphere was calm warm and friendly. Lovely way to spend an afternoon with my friend . Thank you!

Delicious food, great cocktails and an excellent wine pairing. Really enjoyed the French onion soup with my other half. We then shared the tomahawk steak with the selection of sauces. All were great, absolutely loved the peppercorn sauce. Slightly over seasoned with salt. However not a deal breaker. Icecream at the end was magnificent.

What a disappointing experience Based on the menu in our room and the pricing, we thought we were going for a elegant dinner Night before we were told that you had to have a reservation which I made for tonight Never been to a place whereby on the reservation it states “they want the table back in 2 hours” Lucky we only had appetizers because t still took them over an hour to serve us Here are my issues 1) Consistently served the man first 2) Extremely over priced 3) Ceasar salad was over dressed on one side and nothing on the other 4) French inion soup was most expensive that we have ever purchased and was one of the worse 5) When we went to pay, we were informed that they were cashless…… Cash is a legal tender and MUST be accepted Very high priced for poor quality and value Nothing special or romantic here 65usd for junk

We attended the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse in Southampton expecting great food and service, unfortunately we received neither. The staff were disorganised and a hygiene issue coming from one of the waiters was very unpleasant. The starters were very mediocre and the mains, well let's just say my 6 year old would have done much better. You would expect more from a Marco Pierre White establishment.

Fabulous service, food was okay. Not much atmosphere, horrendously expensive parking!
