Restaurant bewertenIn a large group of 8. the personal was friendly and well presented. shop was spotlessly clean. the prices were cheap and excellent quality and quantity. I was skeptical to the pricing, as it was very cheap to other fish and chip connections,...ordered two things that thought they were small. was amazed and the gigantic portion sizes. I highly recommend this place and would definitely go back.
Now, you all know that we have loved this place faithfully for years, even if we moved when we are withdrawn, and when their owners and employees changed. I have explained many paintings about my allergies, personally and about the phone, I have left notizen...(the lost,) I have spoken with chefs / heads; my partner emphasizes every time he exactly what I can and cannot have near my food. my order rarely changes. there are 3 versions that I will go through, but the gf shattered salmon version is deadly and has never any zitrus anywhere near, nor any salat vegetables. my soft boiled chips are in a seperate bag (rare soft cooked, but I think this is my partner not the personal). last night we checked again a thick wedge of lemon, even partner and personal. it hid at the bottom of the box, half under the fish. Although I did not eat the part of the fish, the oils and the juice had obviously spread out through the lid effect of the bag. I also suspect that someone with fresh tomato had shot the lemon on the plate, there was a teeny piece of thin red juice in the bottom of the box, which was not salmon juice. at least: large allergic reaction within 10 minutes including a fine rash all down my right inner arm, difficulty breathing, brain fog. I also had my revival work to handle. I'm tired of wasting food and risking my health. we're not going back there.
I've been here for a few years and was thrilled a few months ago. Last time I lost my order, I waited 45 minutes for my meal. I was just back and eating is nowhere as close as it was. the dough on my snapper was hard on the outside and oily on the inside and the chips were almost directly boiled visibly by with little kartoffel. I didn't ask for salt, but the chips were covered with salt. my partner ordered rare/medium cooked salmon and her was cooked directly through; well made. customer numbers seem to be good and there was no one waiting for, so I think the message will be round. very sad.
Something that is very strange today and not the first time. but today was the worst. almost everything in our order was wrong, and almost all that is wrong in my part of the order would have sent me to the hospital. in the past, I have beaten. to complain when lemon wedges were placed on fish, the fish was thrown away (and cried) or simply thrown away the fish without telling them. or, if the GF battery was boiled too hard, I chopped it off and thrown away, only eating the fish; try to understand overcooked chips etc. today the chickenburger of my partner was wrong, his chiko roles turned into chips; as I said, my fishburger had enough allergens to send me to the sick house. the only thing that was right was my sweet potato chips. in contrast to previous complaints, our order was completely rejected after checking the dockets (prospects). but they must be sure what they want is written right. millie weir makes good food. sometimes the service is hit and miss, perhaps because the personal finds it hard to hear there and has not worked out how to fix the acupuncture.
Chatted with Chef this evening it’s not often we find the people cooking our meals have lived experience of food chemical sensitivities/allergies. Truly a relief to just simply state once how a meal can be enjoyed So tonight I again enjoyed the GF...battered salmon -just lightly deep fried, and a small serve of chips just cooked to golden and crunchy. Didn’t need the lemon or garnishes (which I can’t have anyway), there was so much delicious flavour. The contrast of textures was a delight as well, the solid crunch of the batter against the fresh flaky salmon and juicy broth from the cooking juices. ‘He’ devoured the traditional Chiko roll, a chicken burger, and some chips. He appreciates the leaf of lettuce in the customised burger rather than shredded lettuce less messy when you’re hungry. An easy and delicious meal at a reasonable price, without worry. Two happy dinners!
