Gino's Trattoria

Food was exceptional but service needed a lot of work. Have had 2 bad experiences here and will never return. To be told that my business meant nothing was an insult but they still accepted our payment

The food was exquisite, good portions and flavor, we will be back definitely, maybe next time put a little bit of Parmesan cheese

Haven't been to this restaurant in 10 years as we moved interstate for a while, the food was even better than what we remembered. Can't wait to go back again, fantastic flavours in every dish.

Wasn't sure what to expect from Gino's after a friend suggested we go, was pleasantly surprised. Little Italian restaurant in Runaway Bay nestled in among the usual shops this little gem of a place sits unassumingly in every way. From the moment I entered the service for spot which gave me hope of an enjoyable night. Atmosphere was a little sterile but I put that down to Covid restrictions and as such just an observation. The food was very very good indeed. Both entrees were superb and our mains didn't disappoint. The eye filet was amazing and certainly was a great cut of beef treated beautifully. Overall, to find a local restaurant that one can go to for some good food is a real plus and anyone who loves italian food I am sure wont be left feelings other than completely satisfied. Well done Gino's, I will be back!

Dined at this lovely restaurant last Thursday night. Meals were delicious, husband ordered barramundi and said it was the best he'd ever had. I had the chicken parmigiana which was delicious, lovely moist and juicy chicken with a wonderful sauce. My niece, who is vegan, ordered spaghetti with a vegan sauce. The meals came out promptly and cannot thank all of the staff enough for their superb service. The hosts are extremely friendly and accommodating, even adding a grilled bug to my husbands barramundi when he asked, could not have been more obliging. Will definitely be visiting Ginos Trattoria regularly.
