Restaurant bewertenWe have been to Cafe Boho on a Thursday night 'roast night' for several weeks now. The choices are chicken tenderloins, roast lamb or roast pork and we have tried them all. The meat is beautifully cooked and the portion is large. You will be served creamed broccoli and cauliflower, roast potato (2 large pieces), roast sweet potato and roast pumpkin along with carrots and peas and Yorkshire pudding. Of course, condiments of apple sauce or mint sauce and gravy are offered. These a large meals but I overheard another diner at a nearby table mention that 'small' portions are available. BYO is encouraged and for anybody who can manage it, home made apple crumble is on offer for a few dollars more. The hosts are lovely, friendly people and are very welcoming. Seating is mostly outside but heaters and lights are in situ for those who feel the cold. I highly recommend this as a nice departure from cooking a roast at home if there are only two people to cook for. . No clean up, no cooking, no shopping and no wasted meat.
Best Lambs Fry and Bacon on the coast. I followed this great couple from their Mustang Sally business at Harbour Town to Cafe Boho just for the Lambs Fry and Bacon. Owners are friendly and helpful
The staff were very accommodating with my allergies. They even went to the nearest store and purchased more lactose free milk so I could have a lactose free milkshake.
The Cafe had just been bought/taken over by a great couple. The food is great and the service is fun and professional. Can't wait to see their future plans. .
He bought me our Anniversary Lunch here, as it was just too hot to go far from home. The 'new management' are old hands now - been here since April, and anyway they had Mustang Sally's at Harbour Town before so they certainly know hospitality!!There's a lovely welcoming feeling here, every time we walk past or call in, and always people sitting and chatting comfortably with family or friends. You know it has to be good.We wanted cool meals so I had an allergy friendly Caesar salad with no bacon, and a wonderful decaf. They usualy have rice milk but were just out (luckily I had mine). He had a chicken schnitzel salad, that was generous enough to keep him from nibbling at sweet stuff all arvo. He drank water, and enjoyed his soy chai latte. If the flies hadn't been so bad we would have hung around longer... But there's not much you can do about them in an outdoor setting such as this, in weather like this. Bring your sense of humour, and maybe a battery-operated desk fan, to help keep them away. We still had a beautifully cooked meal, with a great welcome - a lovely day!
