Restaurant bewertenAbove all. they have no government COVID tracking like any other restaurant/caffe. no trace of names, pay, nothing. we had booked in advance. we went in, the lady had no table for us, so she asked if we were sitting on stairs outside (safe) sending us the lift on level 3, not accompanies us. we sit outside and it's just us, we felt like we were forgetting (what we were) take us 35 to get a menu and order drinks. the man came back with drinks and took our food order without pen or paper. he came back THREE times to confirm (without a notizpad each time). we weren't crazy. we were just really shocked as he seemed. this is a nice restaurant?! we then wanted to sit down the stairs when the stairs had frozen. we could get a table below. the dame made drinks with gloves that she was worn around for who know how long! (Juck, we are here in the middle of a pandemic) the hands around the top of the glass. (we didn't drink our drinks when we leaned back) then they screwed up our order that was to be expected. we have 3x teller shared eating. we both had 3-4 mouths full of each and the left. They did not ask how our food was, I wish they did. 1; it is polite and 2; they needed the feedback. this place was a shocking experience and eating tasted like rough chineses that they get from the street. then we got pizza out when we came home. would not return or recommend.
The time to go the 5 minutes south of the city is rewarded more than with great food. in any case, they take a meal at one of the expensive places on the river, but if they are tired to pay crazy prices, and want big. food with great service, in a friendly, local restaurant, they will find the clarendon. simply one of the best meals and service we had during a 3 week trip from melbourne, adelaide and hobart.
We were in a 2 bedroom apartment in the 2nd floor. what was impressive was that each of the bedrooms had its own ensuite, which is great when they stay with friends. the apartment has two bedrooms and a room with a long bar...with 4 chairs for seating, small fridge, microwave and a water cooker. all in all very reasonable quality accommodation near foot to crowns casino and southbank
I ate here with the family. eating was abundant, fresh and very tasty. the prices were very reasonable and the staff could not be fault-free. I can't wait to come back.
Room was great, windows could be opened. Great bathroom, comfy bed. However the room I stayed in they gave me a key because they said the keycard was not working. Next morning I could not open the door to get out and it took half...an hour for the after hours person to come and let me out. During this I found their room phone also not working good I had my mobile. Earlier I found the fridge also not working and had to have room temp yoghurt and drink for breakfast. So a rather sour note to end my stay on. Be wary of keys that do not work
