Restaurant bewertenEight of us had lunch here on Easter Saturday. the service was friendly and efficient, and the house made eating really good. I had steak and ale pee with chips, then sticky toffee pudding. I recommend both, but the courts that the other members of the. my party also looked great. all in all it was a great pub lunch, and I'll be back.
We were made to feel really welcome as soon as we went through the tore of hostesses karen and tracey. they were both very helpful and friendly. my wife and I ordered both the half-deaded chicken that came with chips and salat. that was a very generous part that we really enjoyed. there was also a good selection of drinks and everything was favorable. we would have stayed longer, but it became dark and we had a mile back to our house. we highly recommend this venue. cathy and john, birmingham.
Visited many times (since the Returned with my son a week ago, and both sons on July. Excellent meals and service both times. Decent menu variety, but remains simple and unpretentious. The Gammon (which unfortunately many pubs have stopped offering) was the best...I have had for years. Highly recommended in all respects.
Never been before, such a lovely quiet spot. Very welcoming and did us proud with a lovely lunch. Incidentally the ham is exceptional!
Friendly atmosphere, drinks reasonably priced. Food was alarmingly bad. Nothing fresh or tasty about it, poor helpings, poor watery gravy and served on freezing cold plates.
