Restaurant bewertenThis review is strictly atmosphere and drinks only. We did not get to try the food. Blonde beer was home brewed and refreshing. Highly recommend. We also had a stout beer which wasn't too thick and had a great taste. Lemonade was delicious and they had easy access to water and ice at the bar self service. Their outdoor area had nice seating around a fire. There were sun shades in various areas. They had a ping pong table, plastic ace throwing and cornhole. Recommend for a nice spot.
I came out to Lake Tahoe in Sept 2020 and now in July 2023 and made sure to stay next to this brewery. It’s definitely my favorite. Happy hour is from 4-6pm, that means $6 pints . They have live music on weekends. The vibe is laid back. It has a semi-enclosed outdoor space with a picket fence covered with multch. People brings their dogs. There’s an airstream in the outdoor space with a wood stage in front of it for musicians to play
We had a few drinks snacks, some local live entertainment. Before our other entertainment across the street. Very relaxing. And you can play a few games like Ping Pong or Corn Hole. Dog friendly.
South of North was a delight to stumble upon while casually in the area. The outdoor space evenly lit by cafe lights over numerous tables, bar tops and games. Inside they have a kitchen and a number of seats and table as well but a warm evening evening should be enjoyed in the open air. Their Horchata Stout was a unique find and lives up to it's name with a notable cinnamon finish. Unfortunately only time for one drink but it's worth mentioning they had a good selection of apparel with attractive designs. Images or homages of nature with subtle hints to their name that I could really appreciate.
Friendly staff and great beers. The food was good we had the Greek sando and mushroom burger. The outdoor fireplace was a nice feature on a rainy cold day.
