Restaurant bewertenFirst time, and I will be back. I've told several friends about how great the good is.
We went to this place after reading good reviews and seeing that they had gluten free options on the menu. We ordered the gluten free option for sandiwches and one of us got the wrong bread luckly we caught it. They the took the whole plate and returned with a new sandwich no fries and when we asked they returned with the fries from the plate that had the gluten bread and they were cold at that point and possibly contaminated. The place was clean but loud and the condinents were not stocked (no sugar) and we had to stir our coffees with a knife one of us had a side of apple sauce so we had to ask for one. What they brought out was almost a serving spoon. The service was lacking and the sandwiches were not what I would call restaurant quality. Frankly we didnt really feel allergy safe eating here.
I ordered the Phoenix street breakfast and it was exactly what I wanted. A bite of Over medium egg, followed by the salt and fat from a sausage link, followed by an expertly seasoned crispy smash potatoe dipped in ketchup, followed by a bite of buttered sourdough toast, washed down with a gulp of coffee. I love breakfast food so much. Cheers!
Server was a little scattered, preoccupied, got the order wrong and took a long time to correct. It was busy, so not unexpected on the wait time. Overall kind if unorganized. But I will go back.
Waitress brought coffee, asked if we needed more time. We said NO and then she turned and walked away. When we ordered, Half order biscuits and gravy with two over medium eggs, and an order of French Toast. The egg whites were still runny, gravy had sausage in it as it should, but no flavor. Extremely bland, flour paste. French Toast was 4 small wedges. Needless to say, will not return, and will not recommend coming to Phoenix Street on Broadway.
