Restaurant bewertenWhile this restaurant has the potential to be amazing, the quality of the food did not justify the high prices. We spent over £60 on 2 starters and 2 main courses, but the food was subpar compared to what you can get at a Wetherspoons or Greene King for less money. Our orders were mixed up and some of the food was even burnt. We were excited to try the menu after a long day, but left feeling disappointed and like we had been ripped off.
I recently tried the fish finger sandwich at this restaurant and it was absolutely delicious. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, with a great selection of drinks available. The atmosphere of the place was really nice and welcoming. I will definitely be returning to try their Sunday roast.
I recently visited this local pub on the last bank holiday Sunday and loved the atmosphere. Located in the heart of historic Chipping Sodbury, it was a great place to enjoy a meal.
I recently visited The Squire Inn in the town centre of Chipping Sodbury and was impressed by the lively atmosphere. The food was excellent, the management and staff were friendly and the locals were welcoming. The bar is spacious and well organized, and the large garden is perfect for enjoying a meal outdoors if the weather cooperates. The manager has introduced various innovative weekly events, such as Gluten Free and Vegetarian Tuesdays with a new menu each week, and Bring Your Own Wine Mondays (limited to one bottle per couple). It may seem unusual to bring your own alcohol to a pub, but with the landlord's permission and no corkage charge, it adds to the charm of this traditional English pub. With its character, great food, convenient location, and delightful staff, The Squire Inn is definitely worth a visit.
This is the worst roast I have ever had. The quality is equivalent to that of a Wetherspoons pub, yet they charge top end restaurant prices. I was very disappointed with my experience, especially since they automatically added a 10% tip to the bill.
