Sumthin' Good Soul Food

My husband where I could eat after working on Friday. So happy for their extended hours: It was Friday fish roast and the Whiting was the best I ever had. The baked beans are brilliant and the roasted green tomatoes absolutely the best I've ever eaten, I still think of them this morning. As another reviewer said, you can feel the love and pride for the food they prepare. Support this place! Eat or Carry out. We have to keep this jewel in South Charleston.

If you've never eaten here before I recommend it def. Really on the point!

Had the shrimp and grits and it was amazing. The shrimp was so tender it melted in your mouth. As much as I loved them, the baked beans were probably the best I've ever had. Will definitely be back!!

This place is overflowing with home cooked flavor and feel you can taste the love in every bite!

Great food and great people. Can't wait to go back. Brisket, ribs, fried chicken, mac and cheese..: it's all good!
