Ahmet's Turkish Restaurant

Yum yum yum! We dined her for lunch with friends after walking past and seeing how busy it was (always a good sign). I had the “steak plate” and Turkish bread and hubby had the kebab meal. Beautiful authentic flavours and generous portions, we were...all satisfied with our food and wouldn’t hesitate to come back!

Headed to Ahmet 's after a day at the Cultural Center. The lamb Ishkar (spelling? was very tasty; I typically don 't like lamb. I am not familiar with Turkish food so deferred to the others in my group. There were fritters, pizza 's , a refreshing jug of...white lychee spritzer and baklava to top it off. I would recommend ordering coffee to sip with the baklava. Our server was friendly and efficient. We dined outside; hassocks or chairs with backs are available. It was an enjoyable meal and will head back at least one more time before vacation ends.

We stopped at Ahmet's after a stroll through Southbanks evening market. We shared a beautiful meal with a bit of belly dancing thrown in! Our party of 3 shared a couple of meze dishes and were quite happy with our choices. We had the spinach...and cheese gozleme tasty, but we prefer ours with feta cheese instead of mozzarella; the chicken skewers with rice and tzatziki delicious char grilled morsels of chicken breast that were a perfect partner to the tzatziki and the miniature lamb dumplings tiny little parcels with lashings of tasty sauce. Delightful meal, would definitely recommend

Three of us for a king banquet, and that was it. many courses, all very good eat. the service was no longer. highly recommended

Best service we have experienced for years. the waiting staff was friendly and very efficient in a very busy environment. we had the banquet that was tasty! high quality eating to fair trips.
