Kawamata Seafood In Dana Po

This place is definitely not worth the social media hype. The portion sizes are disappointing--the regular bowl could feed a kid, and the large might satisfy a teenager. You won't get full off of either. The taste of the fish is okay, but the value just isn't there. Your bowl comes with only white onions, cucumbers, and soy sauce. If you go to spots in western OC, all the toppings that Kawamata charges extra for are often included at no additional cost. The spam musubi was a letdown. It was mostly rice with a ridiculously thin slice of spam. Not enjoyable at all. I wouldn't go back here.

Poke was so fresh and flavorful! Love the walk up style service

Absolutely top tier poke. They get pretty busy and can get pretty pricey with all the add ons (they charge for toppings). But the quality is awesome, and the portions are big. One thing to note is they have very limited seating outdoors. Recommend bringer a cooler bag and take it to the beach or a local brewery to enjoy.

Best Poke on the Mainland. I’ll definitely be back.
