The 2 stars are for the lovely staff and the lovely location.The food was so disappointing and overpriced for what it was. Your average cafe serves better. Do yourself a favour and drive 10 15 minutes down the road to the excellent Hatton Arms. We wish we had.Menu was great. So many dishes appealed. But we were all disappointed with the poor quality of the food. I can cook better myself than the chefs here. Haddock fishcakes with an egg looked like a very paltry offering on the plate. Thin fishcakes, a rock-hard egg (runny would have been nice) and no side vegetables. Husband's pizza was average tasteless' was the word he used. Daughter's veggie burger was okay but anyone can cook a Beyond Meat burger. Lemon posset not very lemony. Apple crumble stewed apple with a scant dusting of crumble. Husband enjoyed his trio of cheesecakes the only decent dish of the evening.Staff were lovely but service slow perhaps due to how few of them there were and how busy it was. Things were forgotten too our olives never arrived. We had to remind them about missing drinks.

They have a vegan menu with many options to choose from. starter, mains and desserts all 100% vegan. well marked, employees had asked good understanding of veganism and also about allergies. very attentive. ordered the mezzee platter and it was delicious. many fresh aromes and flavored to share well for 2-3 ppl, or as 1 person pornstar. will definitely return! thank you.

Has a separate vegan menu. friendly staff. excellent tasting. very popular.
