Restaurant bewertenPros: Menu in the restaurant has a nice layout that features pictures of various dishes which would be helpful for those that may not be familiar with Thai cuisine. We ordered the pad Thai and pineapple fried rice. Both were delicious and portions were large. Of note, you have to tell them how spicy you want your dishes on a scale of 0-5. Cons: If anything detracted from the dinner, it would be the service. The waiter was friendly and food turn around was prompt, but he was quite busy since he appeared to be the only server. Despite, that I still give it 5 stars and plan to return.
Great find in Soldotna! The service was great. I have the Pad-sew-wee with Shrimp. #3 spicy had a perfect kick to it without overpowering the taste. We had the hot Thai Tea. Be careful if it comes in an elephant teapot. It could be difficult to pour without spilling. The prices were responsible in the $15-$25 range.
We stopped nearby on our bus tour and were in the mood for something different. This place was recommended by our guide and we had to believe her since she ate there too. Asian fusion, Thai cuisine. We started with vegetable rolls, chicken and broccoli and chicken pa-ti and beef noodles soup. Portions were plentiful, hot and delicious. Not sure when we may ever return but highly recommend. Staff was great too. Enjoy!
Very friendly service. Authentic Thai dishes. The stir-fry bbq is especially good. Nice airy dining room.
If the quality of a place can be measured by the number of people frequenting an establishment and waiting for takeout, Siam Noodles is doing excellent. It certainly appeared to be a local favorite at 530 on a Friday. The restaurant is located right off the Sterling highway. This made access easy. Takeout is done well. Each order is placed in a small bag with everything needed. Napkins, cutlery, etc. The staff never stops working. The entire time I waited for my meal, they were busy packaging things, checking slips, communicating with the kitchen staff and updating customers. I was impressed with the spice of the food, and the flavor. I found myself wanting just a little more substance in the Tom Kha Gai. Just a couple more mushrooms, just a little more rice. The price was reasonable and my better half enjoyed her beef and broccoli. Felt very happy with her portion.
