Alfonso's Of La Jolla - Solana Beach

I am not a fan of Tex-Mex food (with all due respect), but I can say here I had the best grilled Veggies quesadilla ever. Perfect balance between cheese, vegetables and salsa above. Your Fajita was also very good. The place is really charming and they make you feel at home.

I've loved this place for over 38 years. Some of the best Mexican food in San Diego. Now in Solana Beach. Try it!

In the past, one of our visits to La Jolla has not dared to go to the new location. I was hoping for the same food and the love of the staff. I wasn't disappointed. Back to page. Love it

Great food here. Went last Friday and sat outside. Nice evening and excellent drinks. Add this place to your list for an easy-going atmosphere and great staff. There was a father and a son playing the music table side, which was a nice touch.

I have been going to Alfonso's of La Jolla since they opened in a back room of Jose's Mexican Restaurant on Herschel St in La Jolla in 1971. It is my favorite Mexican Restaurant. Their food is wonderful and they have great margaritas. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Their new location is nice because it is suited for large gatherings and social happy hours. When he makes an appearance, Alfonso, himself, goes around to each customer and greats them. I highly recommend trying this place. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Alfonso.
