Restaurant bewertenDuring our visit to this city restaurant, my wife ordered pancakes. Unfortunately, when she cut into her meal, she found that it was undercooked. We sent it back to be replaced. When the waitress brought the new meal, she informed us that this was how the chef prepared it and suggested that if we ordered it again, we should ask for it well-cooked. We were surprised by this response and questioned the chef's experience. We dine here 8 to 10 times a year, but after this experience, we are reconsidering whether we will continue to eat at Tim Ramey in Dease Lake.
We stayed at the Aspen Inn and received a $10 voucher towards breakfast. Three mornings we were not disappointed as they have GF options. Efficient servers. At night we went twice and had exceptional service. Food was good. Prices consistant with other restaurants in the...area.
Stopped in for lunch on the way through town, very nice facility and staff were friendly and service prompt, all meals were good but nothing was awesome. Priced a little higher than some but not too high. Portions are average, giving it a 4 out...of five instead of a 3 due to the atmosphere and staff, food was a 3 average.
We were in Smther's on business so stayed at the hotel here, and had supper and breakfast at the restaurant. Food was good, and service as well. When asking for specialty items on menu or changing some of the content of order, they were very...accommodating.
My parents and I ate here while I stayed at the aspen hotel as it was close. there was no menu in the room, so I borrowed one to bring back so we could all decide. the waitress seemed very hesitant to borrow...I understand that they don't want to get rid of their menus, but if there are no menus in the rooms of the hotel to which the restaurant is connected, you should expect them to make them available to the people in the hotel. also the menus were just laminated paper, so not hard to make more. when the food arrived, every meal was missing the sose that should be included (after the lack of acidic cream and salsa, chicken stripes lack plumen sauce and ketchup, cattle diving missing Au juice) and when we went back to get them seemed confused. also the bark diving was ordered without the wobbles, but was not so prepared, they were picked up, but I think bad service. to the happiness it was a preference not an allergy and could be picked up. overall eating and service were easy to order, and we probably go somewhere else when we are in the city.
