Vatos Urban Tacos (beach Road)

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Vatos. The Mexican and Korean fusion concept is really unique and enjoyable. The drinks were fantastic, and the food was absolutely delicious. They offer a great variety of tacos, burritos, and plenty of appetizers. The service was friendly, and even though it was quite busy when we visited, our food and drinks were served in a timely manner after we were attended to. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a bar. We would definitely love to return!

The atmosphere is delightful, featuring unique stools and tables adorned with pipe and tap fittings, giving it a distinctive touch. The food and drinks are both tasty and reasonably priced. The service is outstanding, with our orders arriving promptly. We enjoyed the vegetarian fajita wrap and the chimichurri chicken tacos, paired with a medium margarita and a golden ale.

I absolutely love the tacos here, especially the Baja fish tacos! The fish was served hot, so when you take a bite, you can really enjoy the crunch of the batter. The beef and pork tacos were also fantastic. Combined with the fresh beers, it made for a wonderful meal, and I will definitely return for my taco cravings!

One of the best Mexican food joints I’ve had locally. The service was top tier and the food was immaculate. I don’t normally like soft shell tacos but the Chili lime prawn and Galbi short rib tacos were super flavourful and fresh. Definitely coming back again!

Ordered 4 different ones (fish , chicken , pork and prawn to try and we particularly enjoyed the fish and prawn tacos were mainly priced at 3 for $18 Lovely ambience and the place was crowded on a Friday night. Service could be improved as it appears that not all the staff are able to take orders from customers and only selected ones are able to do so.
