Restaurant bewertenSurprisingly good Sze Char at reasonable prices. We paid about $10-12 per person. Sorry I can’t remember the exact prices. The golden tofu and brinjal were particular highlights of the meal. Tofu is crispy and wok hey. Brinjal was silky, piping hot, and extremely flavorful. Marmite pork was above average good, but can’t taste the marmite, just imagined that I was eating sweet and sour pork. All dishes pictured are medium size. Setting has cold air conditioning. The space might get noisy when crowded because everyone’s voice echoes on the hard walls. You might have to chat louder than usual.
A family favourite restaurant with great staple dishes. The 鱼头炉 here is really good! But we tried the bbq stingray this time round and it really disappointed us, fish was dry and almost tasteless. Would not recommend this dish :
Value for money set meal! Tastes good with strong wok hei. Curry fish head was fresh and flavourful. The tofu tastes great too.
This restaurant is quite good with generous portions and delicious flavors. The menu is very diverse, so I will have to come back to try more dishes. The indoor seating is comfortable with air conditioning, and the staff is very friendly.
This restaurant offers excellent tze char dishes with a wide variety of options on the menu. While gu lu rou (sweet and sour pork) rice and ginger onion/Kaplan beef rice can be found in many places in Singapore, few can compare to the delicious versions served here. The dishes have a lot of wok hey flavor! I always pay attention to how well a restaurant makes a sunny-side-up egg, and they have certainly mastered it - the yolk is perfectly runny. The prices are very reasonable, making this gem of a restaurant a frequent dining spot for me.
