Restaurant bewertenWe had a great lunch in jaan. excellent artistic presentation of an incredible amount of food. each dish had a special note that this restaurant made one of the best in singapur. service was also amazing. that should be a michelin 3 stars.
Great date night place with fantastic views of the Singapore skyline. Came here for my birthday and honeymoon, amazing service and food, but had some sticker shock over the meal cost... particularly the champagne $55 USD a glass!! Definitely come mentally prepared if you've been visiting the food centres and hawkers... definitely not cheap, but well worth it!!
JAAN was magnificent! Renée and I got engaged earlier in the day and celebrated with our closest friends at JAAN. The team made our special day even more outstanding They were warm, welcoming and made sure that not only were we looked after, but the night was memorable. The food is exceptional! “Eggs in and egg” was an absolute standout. Each dish was prepared with love and presented beautifully. The broths! I’m not sure I can describe them...you can taste the attention to detail in every sip and every carefully (perfectly) made broth. ...finally the view. Perched on top of Stamford plaza. Gorgeous!
Great take on British classical ingredients. Do ask for window table at reservation. Sommelier is knowledgeable
I give this restaurant five stars because the food is absolutely perfect - truly flawless. The dishes are both inventive and simple, bringing out natural flavors while also delivering a touch of magic. The chef is also very friendly. This is my go-to restaurant for special occasions in Singapore. Despite the spectacular view, the quality of the food remains top-notch. The menu strikes a fine balance between old favorites and new innovations. However, I do have two complaints. Firstly, I once arrived very late to my reservation despite calling ahead, and although we were seated, we were scolded by the hostess. I understand not being seated if we were excessively late, but being scolded after being seated seemed unnecessary. Secondly, while I expect markups on wine and beverages, I found the markup on soft drinks to be excessive. Despite these grievances, I still believe Jaan is a culinary gem in Singapore and I am looking forward to returning.
