Unlike the usual fried curry puffs, J2’s crispy curry puffs flakes out like any western puff pastry. The potato filling is grind to a creamy paste and it melts in your mouth. Highly recommended
Tried the black pepper chicken puff 1.80), filling so generous and taste nice. It’s quite saucy inside, so sometime sauce might drip from side of the puff. Skin is soft but crispy and very flaky. If you really can’t tolerate spiciness, better consider another type of filling.
Yam puff 4/5 Curry puff 3/5 First time eating puff with Yam filling. Every mouthful was filled with orh nee and crust. The size of the yam puff looked small at first but it was really filling. The curry puff was alright. For every bite I took, I was hoping to taste the egg but I was disappointed each time. It was my first time eating so was not sure if the curry puff was supposed to have an egg. I prefer to have an egg in my curry puff so I won’t be getting any of their curry puffs in future.
Definitely one of the best, if not the best curry puffs in SG. Love the flaky crisp layers with very tasty fillings. Yummmms
Have you tried nice black pepper curry puff. If you have not please try it out at this stall. The puff are all freshly hand made each day, you don’t see any puff that is left over from the other day. The puff are big and are stuffed with filling. It is worth trying.
