Restaurant bewertenCame here just for the mala. Paid $11.50 for a portion enough for 2 person. Spice level for zhong la is just right for me as someone who has meals with chillipadi on the side. It is also addictive. The stall also offer zichar dishes, I recommend getting the char kway teow noodles
I was pleasantly surprised by the Sin Zhou fried rice at this restaurant. The dish consisted of perfectly fried rice with a minimal amount of vegetables. However, I found the price to be a bit high.
I ordered the mei cai preserved vegetable brinjal with rice and standard yong tofu at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the dish did not have any mei cai flavor and looked unappealingly black without any garnish, especially considering its $5.50 price. The standard yong tofu was lacking in sweet sauce until I specifically asked for it. The portion size was so small that I ended up having to order two more fried fritters for $1 each, which were mostly just flour. Overall, I found the meal to be a waste of calories as I had to eat more to feel full.
It may be difficult to reach this restaurant if you don't have a car, but the food was delicious and served quickly after ordering.
Try the Sin Zhou roasted rice at this restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the dish - it consisted of crispy fried rice topped with minimal vegetables. However, the price is a bit on the higher side.
