Excellent food, definitely recommend the fajitas. The staff are very nice and friendly, some language barriers but not enough to effect your order. This staff deserved the 5 star after how we were treated as well as others. They like to get to know you and even have your drinks ready by the time you walk in. On top of that if they feel the price was wrong even if that's the posted price they mark it down a couple dollars. Great job to the owner and the staff, a definite place to go back again as often as possible.

My wife and I visited EL CERRITO MEXICAN RESTAURANT in Sikeston Missouri today at approximately 2pm. Wow what a great experience. Food proportions were large and the food was delicious. The waiters and everyone was polite and courteous . They contacted us several times while at the restaurant but not to much. While there don't forget to get the chunky guacamole dip! It's fabulous!

We ate here at the recommendation of a local you said it served ?the best Mexican in town!? They did not disappoint. The service was personal and friendly as well. A great experience!

Quick stop to eat and was not sure how it would be because we are from New Mexico and we have authentic mexican food there. I had the Pollo Durango and my husband had the carne asada plate. This place did not disappoint. It was delicious.The staff were super friendly and welcoming! I would definitely recommend this place!!

We had the enchiladas, fajitas and tacos dinners. Everything was delicious including the orchata. The service was excellent and prompt.
