El Cerrito Mexican - Sikeston

Had the best authenic Mexican dinners on our trip to the Pacific and back to Tennessee at El Cerritos. Alfonso was fantastic in making us feel totally welcome and his suggestions on a couple of different top notch margaritas could not have been better. When we pass through again this will be the place for us.

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at El Cerrito Mexican Restaurant in Sikeston, Missouri, around 2 PM today, and it was an excellent experience. The portion sizes were generous, and the food was truly delicious. The waitstaff and staff members were polite and attentive without being overbearing. Be sure to try the chunky guacamole dip while you're there—it's fantastic!

We stopped by for a quick bite and weren't sure what to expect, especially since we're from New Mexico and are used to authentic Mexican food. I ordered the Pollo Durango while my husband opted for the carne asada plate. This restaurant truly exceeded our expectations—everything was delicious! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming too. I would definitely recommend this place!

We dined here based on a local's recommendation that it served "the best Mexican food in town!" They certainly lived up to that claim. The service was warm and personable, making for a fantastic experience overall!
