Oasi Verde - Siena

Every time I'm on Siena surroundings, I go by this place to buy some vegan pastries, organic fresh fruit and vegetables. But this time was different they were doing pizza night! I chose to eat it at home. It was superb! I recommend the Oasi Verde pizza, is vegan, and even though had some carrot topping, that make it extra special. The sourdough crust was very light, and digestive (that is not the case for the classic pizza). The owner is super nice, she told me that they do not do pizza on daily basis. If you want to be sure to find pizza, I recommend you to call in advance.

Maybe it was our bad luck, but there were not many different dishes to choose when we visited the place. Only the spinach thing tasted good. The other two dishes are only very pale in taste. The owners are very nice.

Very tasty, fresh and wholesome food. Many vegan and organic options! They only have an Italian menu but the staff spoke English and was very happy to help us. I loved the plate I got— greens cabbage, rice w/ veg, adzuki beans, and vegan arancini! There is a small shop for organic groceries and other bio/eco items, and there are a few tables if you want to sit and eat. Recommend!

I stopped by this place looking for vegan dessert options. The staff were friendly and were able to point out which foods were vegan. There wasn't a ton of prepared food at the front counter, it was more of a grocery store rather than cafe. The store section was pretty big with a lot of produce I didn't browse the store section, so can't accurately comment on the availability of other vegan products there. I ended up trying some sort of italian dessert, which was nice and also a good price! Updated from previous review on 2018 05 01
