Restaurant bewertenFood, candles, lights, staff, music, environment, just the best spaniard and european place in US. Voila!
We drove 1 hr 15 min just to try Little Madrid. We visited on a Friday night just before New Years Eve. Full disclosure, 30% of my reviews are Spanish restaurants in Spain. Please see my other reviews. I’ve eaten at many Spanish restaurants in the USA and Spain. I did a little research before eating here, we knew this was a small family owned restaurant with limited seating, which is why we chose to visit. Usually small family owned businesses have the best food, and this place didn’t disappoint … – show
I went with a girlfriend and it was a perfect, quaint spot for an early dinner. It reminded me of all the old school chicago homey restaurants from decades ago. Not pretentious, or trendy, but a real family inspired Spanish tapas restaurant. The waiter was delightful, the owner was ever-present, and the food the real treat. Super tasty and inspired combination. There are so many things to try. So, go and taste, try and enjoy.
The worst paella I have ever eaten; I've been to Spain 6 times and eaten paella everywhere, none as poor as this.
Cozy, romantic, authentic, and a sweet getaway hole-in-the-wall right in the heart of Andersonville. Unassuming on the outside, you feel like you enter a gateway right into Spain with the warm candlelit, spoken Spanish as default, and Spanish music. A perfect date-night spot. Brava to the owners! We will certainly and happily be back.
