Restaurant bewertenWent for lunch today . Absolutely the worst lunch we’ve had in years. The Stilton tart was so stale, tasteless and dry is should have been thrown in the bin. The “ salad” which accompanied my awful tart consisted of a very vinegary carrot concoction and there was also a very mustardy thing what may have been grated turnip. The whole lot was disgusting. My partner had the same tart, and his was accompanied by a dollop of puy lentils plus a dollop of tasteless potatoes. These dishes cost £11.50 each! So in my opinion avoid this place . Highly over priced rubbish. Definitely not recommended.
A little gem of a place hidden in Ludlow. The food is delicious and a plentiful selection of drinks. The service is so so friendly and very attentive. I give credit to the manager Steve. What a lovely chap and I must say very dishy too!!!!! He should definitely be on the menu!!! Great place to try.
I had an unplanned lunch at this restaurant and it was delicious. The service was friendly and efficient, and the soup and stilton tart I ordered, paired with a Ludlow ale, were incredibly tasty.
Poor service and rude staff. Will not be going back menu unclear and prise any information from staff
A day in Ludlow and time for a light lunch. Wanting to avoid the staple diet of chips with everything, this looked attractive. We chose to sit inside and made our way up the slightly hazardous staircase to a delightful small upper room. The menu was not extensive but made up from a variety of local produce, imaginatively presented, and a full range of hot and cold drinks. There was plenty there to catch the eye and the appetite, including local pies and delightful salads. The sourdough and olive oil was perfect with a plate of very tasty olives. A super light lunch, pleasant staff and very welcoming.
