Cleas Margaritas A Family Mexichan Restauranel Outdoor

I came here 12/30/22 the dining room was 80% Mexicans eating, drinking, partying about 7pm. Excellent friendly service at the separate bar. Good choice of mezcal tequila. I had a michelada a mezcal margarita.My dinner was the lamb birria with choice of 1 or 2 shanks. 1 was enough for me. Nice family run restaurant. If it's good enough for Mexicans, that's a good sign.

Never planning on stepping foot in this restaurant again. They wouldn't let me get a to go order for a taco salad saying they already closed their kitchen... I walked in at 8:40.. closing time is 10 PM?!!! They clearly can't handle the hustle and bustle of having a restaurant and serving on the weekends. They were just lazy and didn't wanna take another customer. I don't plan on supporting this restaurant ever again. Terrible customer service..

I hate giving negative reviews but this place is a big NAH... for me. Service was great but food, not good. Beans were slightly Alpo-ish and queso fundido was probably Tostitos white queso from a jar. Hubby had fajitas and he said dry and bland. Our friend had chicken something and the pieces of chicken were about 1/4 thick and cooked to eternity and beyond. Really disappointed with the food. The service was awesome but I probably won't be back. If it was only one dish that failed, maybe but not when it was all three.

Best Mexican food I've ever had... staff is so friendly. The food is made with such love, must be their secret ingredient !
