La Chula Mexican - Shoreline Park

Always good at La ChulaOne of my favorite restaurants.

I got the fish tacos with the habanero mango sauce and the sauce was so sweet You almost couldn't eat it. I expected it to have a little heat as well but it was just straight sweet sugar flavor any taco just had four little popcorn shrimp on it. I didn't have a chili releno as well with a cheese sauce on it was good. These servers need some education. My server offered to refill my tea and he picked up my cup by the top with all four fingers and his thumb touched the rim of my cup when he took it to go refill it. And that was right after I had watched him waiting for someone else's food to come out and he had rubbed his hands over his face and thru his hair. He was also leaning on the counter where the food comes from the back and he was right over other people's plates within inches breathing on their food and rubbing his face right over their plates.

Food is not good- beans and rice served cold. Meat is burnt. Service is very slow. Manager doesn’t care for satisfaction of customers. Atmosphere is awful- the tables are not steady. If you like loud music though they have that kinda room and they also have indoor smoking area right before you walk into the nasty bathroom area. Oh and on top of this they are overpriced. Apparently they are looking for a new cook as of April 2024. Most Mexican around here is isn’t good but avocados across the street is okay- just pricey and small portions.

We sat down at a whole basket of chips before anyone took our drink.Order then the dip we ordered showed up at the same time as our dinner. Do not order their nachos.

Very delicious food with great service. Order the Polo Loco. Menu had 75+ items. Super helpful waiter. So good we had so stop ourselves from eating the insanely large amount of food on the plate! Parking: Gravel lot
