Colina De Oro - Shingle Springs

I judge a Mexican food place on 1) its chips and salsa and 2) its chili verde. This place has really good chips and salsa and probably the best chili verde I have had in a long time. You can tell it's homemade. Excellent. Will definitely eat here again on my way to Tahoe.

Great service and yummy authentic Mexican. Husband had the Chili Verde burrito and I had the fajita one!! Will definitely be back!!

Waitress said ill be right back when i tried to ask for the water i already ordered. ten mitnutes later i wrotethis review waterless. She was rude and unhelpfull. This place blows. Not recommended at all

My go to lunch spot. Very relaxing atmosphere. Clean, quiet, great food, great prices, and large portions. The menu is sort of an unapologetic mix of authentic Mexican food and Tex-Mex that is consistently good.
