Restaurant bewertenUsed to love coming here! Today I ordered my usual thing and the server just basically said it couldn't be made very confusing. Shared this in a review on Google and the owner was very hostile. Probably don't come here if you're vegetarian or expect a certain level of decorum. In reply: at time of writing, there is no such item on the menu. This fact does not constitute disrespect. Good day to you.
First time here great food and awesome service. Busy the day we went so had to wait a while but we were advised at the time we ordered that they were behind so didn't mind was definitely worth the wait. Definitely recommend and will be back.
First, 5 stars for the server. She had a great personality. We'd go here again just because she really seemed to like her job! Service was a little slow, but I guess you should expect that in a one server, one cook restaurant. My wife had the picadillo and I had the vaca frita. My wife loved her dish, and their unique margarita. My dish, the shredded beef, was very, very dry. I thought Cuban mojo would have some, any liquid. I suspect it was shredded then reheated without any liquid. Fried plantains were very good. Definitely worth another visit. I just may stick with the sandwiches, which is what we saw most ordering.
Great food fresh and authentic, great service. Hidden gem in old downtown Sherman. Will come back here!
I was skeptical that there would be good Cuban food in Sherman. I was wrong. It was the best Cuban food I have ever had, and I've vacationed in Miami several times. The ham croquettes were divine, the desserts were scrumptious, the coffees were outstanding. But the winner was the guava and cheese empanada. Outstanding.
