Restaurant bewertenNice restaurant with friendly, fast service recurring checking in to make sure everyone is satisfied. Everyone was happy with their food you wouldn 't expect an Italian restaurant to have $1 Taco Tuesdays, and you wouldn 't expect them to be good on top of that, but the members of my party who got the tacos quite enjoyed them. I got the seafood ravioli and enjoyed it. Everyone seemed happy with their meal overall. (My sister complained the salad 's lettuce tasted like dish soap , but she was the only one who thought so, and between you and me, she 's kinda weird. Everyone was especially happy with dessert I tried bits of the tiramisu and the chocolate cake and really liked them both. A gluten free member was in my party and was able to enjoy a nice dinner (tacos with gluten free shells and dessert (the flan .
This place was amazing, loved the patio. Great food, great service, and to top it off an amazing homemade chocolate cake.
Very disappointed! 6 of us drove 2 cars 60 miles round trip yesterday, (Thursday 9/7/2017) for dinner. You were not there. You need to correct your information on all the social media that you are on as to days open. you also need to correct your phone message which said you were open.
First of all I am always grateful when a new restaurant comes to the area and gives us another option than driving out of town. Carmelina is the on the water and the decor is five star. The staff is very accommodating, and only fell short on replacing drinks. But that could have been due to having too many tables, since the place was busy for a Monday night. It was a mixed review on the food. I thought they fell short on the Italian side, since I didn't care for a pasta sauce. Also the portion size for the cost is pretty scrimpy. The salads are excellent and very creative in the presentation, with the exception in the coleslaw, which wasn't good. The hamburger and onion rings are excellent. The onion rings were the star on the table. We would certainly go back and order a salad or sandwiches again. Bottom line it's a delightful place to eat, but can't say I would recommend any of the tomato pasta dish again.
Generously rating 4 due to ambiance. Impressive and fun rustic decor. Great idea for a boat up and dock restaurant. Family friendly. Great view. Rocks gently on the waves lights sway which just added to the fun and unique feel. The sake made coladas were awesome! Salads were delightfully wrapped and plated. Calamari was great too! We were not impressed with the meals and I 'd rate them no higher than 3 for flavor bland and no higher than 3 for portion size. Shrimp fettuccini had impressive shrimp but no flavor. Small portion of house made pasta, with bland watery alfredo sauce. Spaghetti special had best portion size but bland. Seafood ravioli had great flavor but tiny portion. No dessert was offered. Our ticket was $262 incl bottle of wine for a family of 7 and several people made a sandwich back at the cabins because they were still hungry. So a 5 for concept, decor, location brought down by less than impressive meals. Heard the pizza might a better bet. We will likely try again next year and hope they add flavor and are more generous with serving size. Sharing the feedback mostly for the owners so they can benefit and be ready for their third season. We wish them well and hope they thrive there! BTW- we found it humorous that one server mentioned the locals call tourists terrorists or terrists ? and that the town throws a big party after Labor Day to celebrate after we are gone. Might teach the working townsfolk where most of the money comes from and how many businesses go under every year waiting for us all to come back. And how many other towns in the world also benefit and suffer from vacationers.
