The Rising Sun - Sheffield

Great real ale pub...my fave is Abbeydale Moonshine a blonde real ale 4.3 . Never had meal there but their pork pies are very moreish! :

Absolutely beautiful! the staff are very attentive, the steaks are cooked to perfection, we had a nice evening thanks to sue the team

We called in for a spot of lunch,only to find it was very busy,the waitress Vicky managed to find us a spot as we hadn't booked ahead. The chap behind the bar,Kevin was under pressure,but was able to cope well,very pleasant.The meal was lovely as per usual. Vicky looked after us ,extremely helpful,even though we noticed that there sempt to be only 2 staff available today. Vicky and Kevin were extremely busy,but still very pleasant and helpful with our orders. Great place ,great service , definitely recommend the Rising sun, we'll be back. Dined on a half price offer but it would still have been good value at full price. Nice old pub. Nice food. Good prices.
