Nick And Jake's Shawnee

We normally love coming to Nick and Jakes. Mother's Day was not their day. Ran out of lots of things/specials on the menu before we got there. Got a couple of prime ribs (asked for Med. Rare) and they were cooked well...? WHO ordersa beautiful cut of prime rib and eats it when it's cooked all the way? No blood. Disappointing. Waitress did not seem on her best game today either, waited over 20 minutes for a Moscow Mule and a Tito's and soda... Yikes. I hope next time they are better prepared!

This place has a wider than usual selection of popular means of life, and its menu varies quite often. their also the only bar I can find with fresh mint leaves, and bartenders who cannot handle a sugar mint julep. this has even called it julep 0. cal simple. I had a great nativity, my wife had chicken pot pie, which is really hard to find in restaurants. just a great night. we called out on that, and then they put us on the waiting list, so our wait was 5 minutes on the outside. When they told the people, it would be half an hour. big birthday adventures!

Love the Salmon BLT, its my go to sandwich when I order out for lunch. I can't speak to the service on the inside because I have only gotten carry out the 20+ times that I've had this sandwich. I typically order mine without cheese, or tomato. I don't like tomato because it tends to make the sandwich too wet. There have been a few times when they have left it on along with the cheese and I am lactose intolerant so that is why I keep the cheese off. They are great with correcting their mistakes so I can speak to that part of their customer service and give them an A+ The sandwich is on brioche bread and the sweetness of the bread, mixing with the salt of the sauce they on it is a great balance. As for the salmon, it is cooked to PERFECTION! The place where I used to get my salmon sandwich would always dry out the salmon but this salmon is consistently moist, delicious and cooked to perfection. The french fries have a great flavor to them. The piece of lettuce is sometimes really wet and droopy but I deal with it. I think its like that because I get carry out. I like to always ask for a side of honey mustard because I love a sauce and I am always accustomed to order honey mustard when I get a salmon sandwich just incase it comes out dry, but this sandwich never does. The honey mustard is also a nice addition to all the other flavors going on.

I moved in to check this facility and was not disappointed. will definitely go back and try another court. on this day I tried the chicken potcake and it was quite decent. maybe next time a terrace?

Food was not good. Great service but Salmon was very bland. Will probably not eat here again. I tried the meatloaf on another visit and it wasn't very good either.
