Restaurant bewertenOld-time charm. I liked the appetizer selection. Voice mail claims reopen January 8th Tuesday through Saturday evenings and to make reservations on their website.
This was one my favorite places to go to until this last few weeks. There appears to be a change in staffing and the original helpful hosts no longer seem to be there, replaced with inexperienced and frankly quite rude hostesses. I know restaurant staffing is quite challenging at the moment, but I really think I would continue to keep looking for better team members. Rudeness ruins businesses.
Delicious food and courteous staff. This place gets an A+
Had an absolutely exquisite first time visiting the tavern. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxing and fun and the service was attentive. The bartender even offered me some fun champagne drinks(my fav) that aren't on the menu! To eat, we would highly recommend the bruschetta, the homemade hush puppies, the key lime pie and the lemony olives. Get to the patio early to avoid a wait. We are thrilled we have such an awesome local spot and can't wait to go back.
Everything we ordered was outstanding. For starters, we had the mixed olives and fried mozzarella, which was not your typical mozzarella stick you'd find at a bar. Instead, it consisted of fresh mozzarella slabs that were breaded and fried—truly unique and delicious. The chicken sandwich was among the best we've ever tasted. The fries were thick-cut yet incredibly crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. The Mahi was also exceptional, perfectly cooked and seasoned with a jerk rub, served alongside a sweet and spicy mango salsa. The cocktails were equally unique and tasty. This place truly is a hidden gem.
