Restaurant bewertenThese were the best drinks I’ve ever had. The bartenders were super nice too. I would definitely become a regular if I wasn’t living on a students budget
This is a small but cosy bar in Yeonnam dong, which calls itself vegan friendly and open to everyone, including the LGBTQ community. The regular menu includes mostly whisk(e ys, rum and tequila. Apart from that, the bartender can make cocktails on request (contact them in advance if you need a special drink . Vegan cookies or crackers are served as complimentary snacks. In fact, they try to use mostly plant based ingredients and develop vegan drink specials that change quickly. (E.g. last week featured drinks with vegan sesame cream. This week, only a vegan hot chocolate with rum was available. The hot chocolate was very flavorful and amazingly thick better than regular hot chocolate at most coffee shops! Though prices seem a bit high, they also use pricey ingredients. The bar is located on the second floor. It consists basically of one room with only 8 bar stools facing the counter. There are no windows, so the atmosphere is dark yet warm.
The specials here change regularly so there’s always something new to try. The weekend we were there Howl in the Bar were running an Alpro special, using their cream to make a Howl’s Irish Cream and a Pirate’s Breakfast. Both were excellent and some of the best cocktails I’ve had let alone vegan. Both were super creamy which is rare to find vegan I’ve missed having that option! We also tried a Mojito which was great too. This place is tiny, less than 10 seats so go early if you can.
