Only popped in for a swift half but I must say I was very impressed with what has been done to the pub since my last visit...pre covid. They had Tim Taylor's landlord on hand pull and a cracking half it was too, wish I'd have had time for a pint!! The pub has been totally refurbished since my last visit and it looks very good indeed....real big plus point for me is that it is a dog friendly pub so now I have an excuse to pop in on the way home from taking Wilma for her walk.

The best takeaway Sunday lunch available in the Selby area at the moment. Lovely food. Massive portions and excellent price. Staff have always been friendly and efficient.

Highly recommend. Great service. Very friendly and helpful staff. We are not from this area. So they were great to get tips of area. Manager and chief) We have eaten twice there now. In two weeks. Going back tonight. As we leave this area tomorrow. Must try the steak. Chief truly knows how to cook a good one. Love recommending something great when you come across a good one. Keep up the great work.
