Restaurant bewertenWe had a ladies lunch for 20 there this afternoon and I can honestly say I have never experienced such indifference and such terrible service. The food was fine, but they were grossly under staffed in spite of us having reservations. One guest waited for more than an hour for her meal before she cancelled it altogether, and four guests waited even longer! No compensation was offered, and the waitress basically said she had another job, which we took to mean that she didn't really care about this one!
We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant of the Blue Ocean. It's a nice venue right on the course friendly service, very interesting pub food, and a nice choice of local beers on tap. The ribs looked especially delicious, but the Asian rice...and noodle bowl, deluxe grilled cheese, Matane shrimp club, and clam chowder all got rave reviews as well. Even if you don't golf, it's worth a visit for sure.
We gave up on the grill. I talked to the manager that after the catastrophic lunch with friends I would make a follow-up assessment. we ordered the clubhouse sandwich. it was disgusting eiskalter speck. we sent them back and they heated the speck (sortiment) and returned the same sandwiches. we both took them apart and ate the meat and the sweet in sandwich. the brot was naturally zapped, so it was hard like a board. I'm sorry we give up. it is not worth the worsening. as a candid as its proximity to home
We have been dining at Blue Ocean Grill regularly lately. I didn't mention it in my past reviews, but since we live nearby, we wanted to try something different from our usual spots. We have been consistently impressed with the food after several visits. They have delicious flatbreads, with my favorite being the pear and gorgonzola. Their burgers are excellent and the pastas are good too. The service provided by Melissa and Helen is top-notch. I recommend trying it out soon, in case the quality of the food drops again.
Nothing to recommend about this place. No welcome on arrival, no interest to inquire how we enjoyed our meals, all in a rather tired atmosphere; though more pleasant on the patio in the sun. My third time to visit and my third tested meal and not one I would order again. The sandwiches, with the ciabatta bread, are way over powered with bread. This time, I had the avocado, grilled salmon salad. Very little taste, 1/4 of a very small avocado, no flavour in the salmon, and a large load of dry greens, at $19.
