Specialty's Café Bakery - Seattle

I had the absolutely most pleasant experience at this location. I accidently ordered to the wrong location (blame it on being hungry) and they were still able to fulfill my order and were able to transfer everything so I didn't have to do anything. Absolutely above and beyond. I'm assuming it was the manager by her professional attitude and presence. The front cashier was also so nice! She complimented my shoes and made it feel like a personal experience. Way to go specialtys!!

The smoothie was good. The counter service was grudging at best. They asked me what bread I wanted.. then gave me what they felt like. I asked for no mayo... Yep got mayo. Went to ask for corrections and they acted offended. A couple were friendly... But most just acted like they hated to be at work and it was all my fault they had a job.

Only my first visit and the food was great. I'll be back for that alone. However, management needs to get their act together and have all three registers open during the morning commute. There was a line out the door and only one server and register working when I arrived at 6:50am. Hopefully this was just a one-time situation...

The food is absolutely amazing... when you can get it. All of the Specialty's locations have limited hours, and only make a small supply of pre-made food, which sucks because if you order anything fresh made, it takes forever to receive your purchase. As much as I love some of the things they make, the long wait times often steer me to other locations for breakfast.

These guys ALWAYS screw up my order. It has happened at least 5 times. I have received a few free sandwiches from their manager since they keep screwing up the order. I order one thing and they make something else or get the wrong bread. Don’t go here unless you’re desperate. I have been always checking my sandwich before i leave and call them out on it on the spot but many times i have no time to wait for another sandwich. Also the wait is super long for a simple sandwich.
