Subway - Scottsdale

Jared from subway gives the BEST back rubs and he's always offering me free candy. He's always the nicest employee and he always has a smile on his face.

Subway is by far the best sub sandwich you can get! The value for your money is extraordinary. My father first took me to Subway in 1973 and it's always been my favorite.

If I could give this place zero stars I would as I am beyond appalled at the Store Manager Maria and the owner Shane. My 12 year old daughter walked into this place today, asked how much a Monster was and did not have enough money so put it back but was yelled at as she left being accused of stealing. My husband and daughter then wanted Subway for lunch so he took her there upon paying Maria began to berate my daughter about how stealing was not okay and how much trouble she could get in. Now mind you my husband is standing right there and says nothing to him until he stops the conversation and asks what is going on. He takes my 12, TWELVE year old daughter outside asks her the situation and goes back inside to discuss this with Maria. To be told our daughter came in, she asked how much the Monster was and was holding it down low as if she was going to steal it and then tried to leave the store but went and put it back and left, that she yelled after her and as our daughter exited a man and his son came in and Maria asked if they were all together. The gentleman replied no and Maria claims she just left. So informed of this I call the store, the Owner Shane calls me let 's me know Maria claims a 16 year old girl came in (again she 's 12) asked how much the Monster was and pocketed it then went and suddenly put it back. That she informed the girl not to come back into the store again. Shane then let me know that Maria has worked for him on and off for 15 years and he will speak to her, but he is prepping and helping make Thanksgiving dinner with his wife that he 's not trying to be rude but it 's a $3 monster and he will talk to Maria but what more do I want from him. He stated it was on camera and I said okay then I am more than happy to review the tapes, as many years ago in College while going for Criminal Justice I worked Security/Loss Prevention and know how all of this works. That if upon reviewing the tapes our daughter was wrong, she would apologize, we would as well and make it right. Here is what I want from you Shane and Maria, an apology to my daughter as I know she did not steal nor did she attempt to steal a ridiculous $3 monster. That she is NOT 16, she is only 12 and seeing as ALL of her family is in Law Enforcement and are First Responders that maybe just maybe not all teens are the same and that her parents raised her right. That if you think she stole don 't scream after her, don 't berate her in front of her parent ask to speak to her parent because why would she come back with her Dad if she stole and risk getting in more trouble. So if you think she stole call the Police that is what they are there for is to assist in these matters. Also, remember that you never know what someone is going through in life maybe be kinder and approach things in a better manner. Nonetheless we will not be going back here which sucks as they are right across the street from us and we 've been here many times before but no longer. We also will let all of our friends and people in the area know to not support this location. Absolutely disgusting on the Store Manager and Owners part.

Went for lunch today and got the ham and turkey 6-in sub and a 20 oz bottle of Diet Coke. I had barbecue potato chips that I had with the sandwich. I usually buy chips and get the meal, but I decided not to since I had them already. The sandwich was really good. I even got the sandwich with spinach on it. I will definitely be going again.

The young lady that helped me was or seemed to be preoccupied with another situation she had going on. Which resulted in my sandwich being over toasted and overall not very good. And in general I feel personally that Subway has become extremely overpriced in the last few years.
