Restaurant bewertenI really don't care what they want. It says service charge, not credit card fee, for a reason. It's a charge we have chosen to add for all payments, not just credit cards. As restaurant owners we can charge for what we want. I let you guys take off the fee at your discretion and tell people it's a card fee, but we don't have to do that. It is a charge for all payments. At the end of the day we can and will run our business how we want to. I don't need you to tell me how to run our business. You are an employee and this is part of the job. Poor, poor business practice to charge a 5% payment processing charge, not disclose on the menu and then state it can only be removed if I pay cash. That means even those folks paying cash would be charged this fee if they didn't say something. Restaurants only pay 1.5-3.5% in credit card fees, so 5% still feels wrong. Also, while minimally discrepant, the prices on the bill and menu are off. To the owners, you're really doing a disservice to your servers by not posting or incorporating into your menu prices, as many people will likely recoup the money in some fashion. Such a shame because your staff is lovely, but you're taking money from their pockets.
Worse than ever here...despite apparently being under new management. I can stay home for what I experienced here and have a much better time by myself. ZERO personality and engagement. Ppl just go thru the motions. Why waste my money and time with zero experience. Only 3 ppl in the entire restaurant during lunch hour. Wow. You guys have really screwed up a great thing. Good luck. I'm done! Won't be back Gave you a second chance after your google review response. Done now! All talk no walk and certainly no manger on site as proclaimed. Taco Bell would he better than this experience and I don't eat fast food!
The hostess stated to seat yourself then handed menus to the group. Watched it happen 3 more times. She was wearing headphones similar to full size beatz, using her phone, running hands through hair putting into a pony tail, taking it down, primping at the hostess station, never washing her hands. When we left, she was coloring at the hostess stand. Very disappointing. Our waitress did an acceptable job. Food was slow to arrive, we were the only ones in the restaurant. Why so slow? Not sure. The salsa is still great, chips were dark in color, not what the norm used to be. The cheese crisp was cheesy but not crisp. Fajitas ordered well done, very greasy, pan not sizzling, not well done at all. Used to love the rice and bean sides, today was just ok. Not pleased with the staff and food quality, will not be in a hurry to return. La Fonda Del Sol was my go to place, thankful for the great memories, those will have to carry me through as the experience and value isn't what it used to be.
I called to order a pick up and workers didn't even bother to call me back and let me know they were out of Cocido. Once I got to the restaurant is when I was told to change my order. This all happened while I was on my 30 minute lunch break. Also the guy worker didn't know how to charge my debit card. The food is really good but the service needs to improve.
