Restaurant bewertenI like dropping into Kona for lunch and drinks. It's usually very consistently good. They have a great happy hour menu and I've always ordered sushi when I visit and haven't tried anything else there. They have a few unique roll options as well as the standards. The patio at this location is strangely placed in an underpass out of the sun leading to the mall parking and entrance. My latest visit they were pretty busy and didn't have the staff to keep up, but they were all working hard and were pleasant. It's a nice atmosphere and worth checking out if you haven't been yet.
First of all, Bethany, our waitress was sooo amazing! She was personable, professional, funny, and easy to talk to. She also gave recommendations on the menu. We hope to have her next time we go. Our food was so good too! We had the Kona calamari and the BBQ chicken Flatbread and the margarita flight. Everything was good! The atmosphere is really nice too. Great for all occasions. I would say its kid friendly until a certain time because it just has an adult feel/vibe. Try it!
This place definitely has good sushi, but many other good things as well. I feel like it is on the pricier side for me. However, if you can go to their happy hour. I strongly recommend that. Great deals on there. This time I went for lunch with a friend so I tried some new things. Had some sushi rolls but i got the fried chicken sandwich which was good. Fries were good not like amazing but just fine and butter cake was great.
5-star happy hour spot for drinks, 4-star for food 4.5 stars! Also has a nice patio if you want patio vibes sans sun, as it is in ?tunnel? area at the mall. Music is usually pretty good, worth checking out for sure. Also, great option for solo diners, as there are ton of bar seats!
Food was great! Went there during happy hour and had some delicious munchies. Rib eye meat balls tasted as awesome as it sounds. The glazed sauce on it was sweet and yummy. Lettuce wraps were my next bite and that had a little heat and it was still tasty. Was only able to taste and savor the Kona sliders because the kids ate 2.5 out of the 3 of them but sure enough that was tasty as well. Service itself was mainly good but there was a little bottleneck between food being ready and the handoff to serving the food. This was not a main issue since the time we ate it was generally slow but it could grow to an issue on busier times. Still all in all loved the food and will come back for more.
