Restaurant bewertenA nice coffee shop that seems somewhat displaced from another environment. Their selection runs the usual of the various kinds of coffees, and their baked goods are pretty good as well. The interior is also well handled, and gives the impression of being somewhere else.
Living locally and needing excercise, a morning 1/2 walk to Grackle never disappoints. The coffee is excellent and I can never resist one of their baked goodies. My daughter loves the fact that they also serve gluten-free baked goods. There's always a lively combination of local and out of area people chatting and often groups of bicyclers stop by on one of their tours. Not often that a small town like Schomberg has such a great spot.
Decent coffee at higher price. They only took cash when we went so we had to run to the bank. Nice staff.
The Good:- Quaint and beautiful coffee shop.- Quality of the coffee is at the utmost, highest quality. Always fresh.- Excellent variety of food choices for everyone, especially vegans.- Eclectic, funky and enjoyable artworkThe Bad:- They take cash only. Losing out on a huge customer base- Food items can be overpriced. $7.75 plus tax for a grilled cheese sandwich. $12.75 + tax for a grilled cheese sandwich with a soup. The quality of the food is incredible.- The owner is rough around the edges and is very rude. Customer service goes a long way. There was a review on here about her talking bad about customers. That is so true.My verdict, allow your customers to also pay with credit card and debit. The owner should step out of the picture and let her amazing staff run the shop.
I drop in frequently towards the end of my bike rides for cappuccino and some baked treats and I count the Grackle experience among my favourite "pit stops".
