Punch Bowl Social Schaumburg

It was difficult to tell from the website what we should expect in terms of family friendly atmosphere. We were looking for a place that offered table games and other activities for a family of four with younger teenagers (ages 15 and 12 . Punch Bowl Social turned out to be a very nice option. We had a spacious booth, a pleasant server, played Jenga while we waited for our food, and enjoyed each other 's company. The food was good not great and the prices were slightly higher than what would be expected of a similar venue. The only real criticism would be the menu, which was fairly limited and lacked some go to options for those with slightly less adventurous palettes. (For instance, the only burger on the menu was a two patty monstrosity. Overall, we were happy with the experience, and will consider going back in the future.

For our first time today it was good. I love the breakfast burrito and shrimp burger. The barbacoa was a bit greasy others it would’ve been good. The coffee drink was not hot and didn’t taste well. The waitress was good. Will have to try again at night.

Menu is quite limited. Check before you go. I was looking for more dinner type plates, but generally the menu is geared towards bar food. My mistake for not checking ahead of time. It was just okay for me.

This was our second time here. First time we went it was super busy and crowded and we didn’t really enjoy it but the second time we went it wasn’t busy and we could actually hear each other talk! The food was good as usual and the waiting staff was okay. Our waiter before was definitely with it but this one was kind of distracted. We had 3 drinks in total. The drinks were great, STRONG, but great. We played a bowling game and that was the end of our visit. We recommend this place to anyone especially those that love having fun!

First: our server was great. Food... not so great, unfortunately. Cauliflower nachos were soft and lacked any pizzazz. Jared salsa. Just Boring. Same with the Brawny Salad chunks of ingredients thrown in a bowl. Needed finesse and cohesiveness. Knock out burger was soft, soggy and tasteless. My big hungry son wouldn’t even finish it. And the punch cocktails, although tasty were small rocks glasses filled with ice and a few sips of punch. Good news: the chicken wing app and Salted caramel latte was delish as well as the strawberry milkshake.
