Excellent service, reasonable price and excellent quality

Had the best scampi ever, it melted in my mouth, hubby had cod which he really enjoyed.

Proper Yorkshire chish and flips in a great location with parking. Cod was fresh and cooked perfectly. Batter had flavour and was light and crispy. I had a regular piece which was plenty, but if you are hungry you can have a large for £10.60. My wife had Whitby scampi and said they were the best she had eaten, and by the sounds she was making, I would agree. The scampi was large and for 10 pieces the price was good. The breadcrumb coating was crisp and not overcooked. Chips were tasty and the mushy peas and tartar sauce seemed homemade and both didn’t last long. There was lots of choices including pizza and all for a reasonable price. Staff friendly and all food cooked to order which didn't take long. We had takeaway but there is a restaurant. Apart from Mondays, this is open 6 days from 11:30 to 8pm. Would highly recommend and will certainly pop back next time we are in the area.

Had take out fish bites and scampi were divine. Looks to turn into a pizzeria on Tuesday nights, which is a great idea

Top quality traditional fish and chips. Perfectly cooked batter. Great service and lovely staff.
