Tamarind Cafe - Savannakhet

Cheap food and drinks, live local music and amazing river views. Be great if there were less.power cuts.

Google's listed business hours said this place was open during the day, but I went by prior to sunset on Sunday and it looked like they were just opening up shop. Not sure if they take a break during the day or what, but I didn't wait around for them to finish setting up and went elsewhere.

Liked rooftoop terrace but it is a bit away from the Mekong. Good place to have some beers and some decent food.

Very good food, came quiet and was delicious. Beautiful view from the balcony to the Mekong River. Prices are slightly higher than usual, but they have a variety of foods.

Very nice bar, has an upper seating area for maybe 20 people, staff are very nice, food and drink not expensive. Just a good place to see how the sun goes down and enjoy a dinner.
