Restaurant bewertenTruly one of the best places we have ever visited. I have been to Savannah several times a year and never before stayed at this hotel or visited the bar. It felt like dining in an art museum, with beautiful sculptures and artwork everywhere. You don't have to be a hotel guest to enjoy the lounge. The service was excellent, and our chopped salad and freshly baked bread were delicious. It was a fantastic experience and I can't wait to return.
This is a lovely spot for grabbing a drink. The bar staff are extremely friendly. I highly recommend it!
The restaurant had a variety of seating options including tables, comfortable chairs, and cozy nooks, in addition to ample space at the bar. We truly enjoyed our experience.
A group of friends and I enjoyed all of what Savannah had to offer on a long weekend recently, with one exception; Bosendorfer Lounge. This establishment had by far the worst service of any bar or restaurant we visited in Savannah, and is probably in my top 5 worst experiences is a storied career of dining out. We arrived at BL for a cocktail at 7:30p with a dinner reservation nearby at 8:45p. Long story short, it took OVER AN HOUR to receive the 1 round of drinks that we ordered, at which point, we needed to request to go cups. How is that possible, you may ask? I 'm sorry to say that all of the typical excuses don 't hold water; the lounge was not over capacity. We clarified if we needed to order from the bar or the table. We were polite even though we needed to remind them of our presence. Our order was not complex, etc. The issue simply boiled down to pure incompetence. The key moment which makes me arrive at this conclusion is this; after waiting 30 minutes to even have our order taken, another 20 had passed and we were still waiting for our round of drinks at this point I went to the rest room. When I returned to the table the bartender made eye contact with me and she said ****, I need to make that table drinks. We were simply not a priority. When we were leaving the bartender said to me I have face blindness, which means I can 't remember faces, this is why I kept forgetting to make your drinks. If she does in fact have such a condition I am sympathetic for her, but it 's then incumbent on management to put controls in place to ensure people don 't need to wait an hour for a martini. Side note, the drinks were actually pretty good. That said, a note to all future patrons: do not go to Bosendorfer Lounge.
Emily was tending bar. What a genuinely nice and helpful ? individual..a beautiful lounge..
